Katherine T. Landschulz, PhD

As therapeutic area lead for the Labcorp Biomarker Solution Center, Dr. Katherine Landschulz has overarching responsibility for the delivery of biomarker strategies for sponsor programs in cardiovascular, metabolic and renal diseases, nonalcoholic fatty liver diseases including NASH, as well as Alzheimer’s, Parkinson’s and other neurodegenerative disease indications.

Alan Lackey

Alan Lackey brings more than 30 years of experience in flow cytometry, having started his career with Cytometry Associates, Inc. in 1989 and following the company’s evolution from Esoterix and Labcorp Clinical Trials to the current Labcorp Drug Development organization. Alan brings significant expertise in assay development, validation and global implementation of assays supporting clinical trials. 

Cherub Kim, MD

Dr. Cherub Kim is an anatomic and clinical pathologist with subspecialty training in cytopathology, based at one of Labcorp’s central laboratory sites. Cherub also serves as the medical affairs representative in laboratory informatics, including digital pathology, in his role as clinical informatics lead. In this role, he combines his engineering and computer science backgrounds with his pathology training to support laboratory testing for clinical trials.

Eirini Kamileri, PhD

Dr. Eirini Kamileri joined Labcorp Central Laboratory Services in 2018 as a staff scientist in the flow cytometry department. In her current role, she leads new validations for novel flow cytometry assays and has worked extensively on minimal residual disease detection applications. Eirini provides scientific support to the global operations teams, is involved in flow cytometry trainings for colleagues at multiple levels in the organization and is actively involved in early engagement activities.  

Xia Hu, PhD

Dr. Xia Hu joined Labcorp Central Laboratory Services in 2022 and is a scientist in the genomics department. In this role, Xia is responsible for method validation, troubleshooting and assay transfer support.

Laura Hertwig, PhD

Dr. Laura Hertwig joined Labcorp Drug Development in 2020 as technical lead of the operational flow cytometry team. Quickly promoted to senior operations technical lead, she functioned as subject matter expert (SME) for the transfers of clinical flow cytometry assays to the testing laboratory, as well as instrument SME, and has contributed to process improvements at the operational bench. In 2021, Laura transitioned to a position as staff scientist in flow cytometry.

Caroline Heap, PhD

Dr. Caroline Heap has 20 years of experience in the field of vaccines and chemistry, manufacturing and control (CMC). She is an expert in virology assays, in particular cell-based and potency assays, and her primary focus is in vaccines and gene therapies.

Lingchen (Lisa) Guo, PhD

Dr. Lingchen Guo is part of the scientific engagement team within scientific affairs as a senior scientist, joining Labcorp in April 2021. She supports business development directors and clients with their portfolio needs and evolving expectations and provides central-laboratory-focused expertise to build a connected scientific community within Asia, Europe and the United States.

Christèle Gonneau, PhD

Dr. Christèle Gonneau graduated with a BS in molecular biology from the Florida Institute of Technology (U.S.) and an MS in human reproductive biology from Imperial College London (U.K.). She then specialized in the field of stem cell biology and completed her PhD at the University of Edinburgh (U.K.) and her four years of postdoctoral training at the Ecole Polytechnique Fédérale de Lausanne (Switzerland).

Caitlyn Fritsche

Caitlyn Fritsche is a global manager who oversees the flow cytometry data analysis unit for Labcorp Central Laboratory Services. Caitlyn has 18 years of experience with Labcorp. In her current role, she supports the flow cytometry team by providing scientific leadership, technical guidance and troubleshooting. Since taking on her role as global manager, Caitlyn has successfully driven process optimization within her organization.
